This is not the first time I order such collars. There were also those where halves are made of metal and those where one half is metal and the other is plastic. My personal impressions. Depending on how much the dog pulls and how often it is tied up by a collar with two different halves can last from 1 month to 2 years. Just one fine moment it will open and then every time the dog pulls, it will open. The collar with the same halves has been in operation for 4 years. Now ordered collars with two metal halves, but with a black coating. This coating will be screwed and badly scratched. Coated silver this does not happen. My dog fits the size M, as long as possible.
